External
wall insulation can be installed to new or existing buildings.
These systems are primarily used in the refurbishment of Social Housing and have been developed to provide an increased thermal efficiency to the building, whilst at the same time improving the aesthetics. However, the systems are becoming increasingly popular on new building developments offering an alternative to traditional brickwork skins, providing a solution to fast-track construction. |

An insulation board is fixed mechanically to an existing substrate with pins and adhesive. A reinforcing mesh is then fixed over the board using a high polymer adhesive render. A weatherproof render is then applied over the top. This can then be finished in a number of different textures. |

Systems are also available that are used to cloak secure cabins and containers, which provide an aesthetically improved surface, yet allows the structure to remain in keeping with it's surroundings, e.g. brick and stone effect finishes.
